Heather-

Heather graduated from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center with her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003.  Over her 20-year career she has focused on clinical education to improve patient outcomes.  In 2008 she acquired her first private practice in Key West Florida, Body Owners Physical Therapy, that grew into a very successful practice for the lower Keys.  Her drive to provide individualized care continued when she opened Pinnacle Performance Physical Therapy in her home town of Harrogate Tennessee.  Throughout her career her clinical education was consistent.  Her drive is to continue providing accountable and purpose driven care to her patients.  Providing education to patients and students has also become a part of her career as an adjunct faculty member at Lincoln Memorial University Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

APTA and Private Practice Section Advocacy

She has been a member of the APTA for over 20 years.  She takes pride in letting her voice be heard to state and federal legislatures as a key contact for the private practice section for advocacy of the profession.

Fun Facts

Heather loves to spend time with her husband, Jason.   Traveling, water sports in the Keys, hiking, and sporting events with family and friends are things she loves to do!  Her past travels have taken her to other countries including Chile, Japan, Brazil, and Italy where she grew a huge appreciation for her colleagues in other countries.
