A Holistic Approach to Physical Therapy……

Why Versatile?

Versatile Physical Therapy (VPT) is just that mobile and flexible!  The physical therapist comes to you or you can go to the therapist.  A great advantage is the physical therapist comes to you at your home, office or gym.  Some clients prefer being treated at our office, but others like the convenience of the therapist coming to them.  We come to you fully equipped with medical exercise equipment to treat you.    This works great when people are training at a high level and need to be seen for recovery or injury prevention right before or after a workout.

Areas of Focus

This principle is where Versatile Physical Therapy will surpass and go beyond expectations.  If the expected recovery for an injury is 12 weeks, our goal is 6 weeks! Our physical therapist is orthopedic board certified, only 10-15% of physical therapist hold this certification.  The PT strives to assist you with exceeding your goals by holding themselves accountable to your care with purpose drive treatment sessions.  The awesome part is Versatile PT comes to you at your home, office, or gym!

This principle is a large part of our physical therapy and wellness services.  Versatile physical therapists are well trained in manual therapy and soft tissue work.  The drive with many of their treatments will begin with some form of manual physical therapy.

Your ability to perform is only as good as your ability to recover.  Versatile Physical Therapy will provide researched based nutrition, sleep and hydration education as well as services to help you recover from your work out, event, or sport.

We truly believe stronger people are harder to kill.  We want to dose you with exercise instead of medicine to treat and prevent chronic health conditions.  We go beyond your injury and treat you holistically and individually with a specific program tailored to your goals.  Our goal is to challenge you in ways that improves your overall cardiovascular health and lessen your risk for any type of chronic disease.

How does it work?

In clinical practice, DN is performed once the physical therapy examination and evaluation are completed and clear therapeutic goals and objectives are established. The solid filament needle allows the Physical Therapist to target tissues that are not manually palpable.  Once the muscle and back drop of the muscle has the inserted DN often electrical stimulation is applied to achieve the desired twitch response.

“I injured my leg while pitching.  Every time I tried to practice, I would have to stop because it hurt too much.  I had a game tonight so I went to see Heather for physical therapy.  She provided elector dry needling and applied rock tape to my injured muscle.  I’m not gonna lie.  It was a little intense, lol. But I was able to pitch tonight. Yay!  I’ m still experiencing some pain but so much better than before.  Thanks Heather, for taking good care of me.  You’re awesome! “ Mataya Ausmus
